Back with my travelogue to New Zealand(click link to read about my previous post on NZ).
Drafted it out but Blogger deleted it. So annoyed!
On the bright side, weekends has ended and a new week is gonna begin!
I hope everyone will have an awesome week ahead! If you're looking for some retail therapy, go to Joifeth! ;)
Wakaito Falls
We visited a small 5 metre water fall which is located in Kaimanawa Forest Park on the way from Taupo to Palmerston North. Accessibility is relatively easy but try to be there during noon.

Worth the scream. I kept saying "OMG OMG OMG". The view was stunning!
Went to a supermart nearby our "chalet" to get ingredients to prep for our dinner. Maggie tasted yummmeh!
Mount Tongariro
Next morning, we woke up all ready to conquer Mount Tongariro(as shown on Lord of the Ring)! Pictures taken along Desert Road.
Off we go!
Goofing around whilst walking towards the Alpine Crossing.
THE VIEW!!!
MY FIRST TIME PLAYING WITH SNOW!! We had a lil snow fight there loll
Had so much fun shooting videos and doing jump shots. Took a break after hiking forr 3hrs.. Banana & apples tasted so sweet!!! OB even lugged fruits back from NZ.
His classic posture lol
Had fun going back though the walk is arduous.. Missing hiking so much now :(
Little hobbit searching for Frodo!!
COMPLETED!!!!! HOOOORAYY!
We took the popular hiking route - Tongariro Alpine Crossing which passes between Tongariro and Ngauruhoe.
Mount Tongariro and its surroundings are also one of the several locations which Peter Jackson chosed to shoot Lord of the Rings.
I was pretty shock when I realised that last year there was an eruption occurred at the crater.
Anyway, we hiked for approximately 10km in total from carpark to Alpine Crossing.
We didn't went to the crater as we were not fully geared with "sticks"(those sticks which u hike during cold weathers).
However we're within reach to Mount Tongariro and we are satisfied.
This is probably one of the free things you ought to do in New Zealand. HEH!
Btw, remember to leave all your valuables at your apartments/hotel reception!
I was told that there are pretty much theft cases at their carpark!
Till here, toodles!

Beautiful pics! Looks like a great time!
