Hello! I have been away for quite awhile as I am mainly lazy to update my site. However, since I am having a week's holiday why not I share about my recent trip to Bintan? I know... I have yet to share my Hong Kong trip since last year. But I'll fill it up another day HAHA.
PS: I cannot understand how other bloggers pen down their weekly activities when they're so packed with activities/work. Wished I am more productive like sacrificing my sleep for my blog. But.... I can't. Haha!!
We took a ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bintan Resort. It cost us $70/pax as it was peak period. Journey to Bintan was disastrous. It was a rocky ride, the very first time I faced people puking on board. I was sleeping throughout the trip hence it didn't affect me. However, the sound... and smell was awful for me. There were at least 30% of people on board puking.. So, if you are one whom is sea-sick, I highly warn you to bring your sea-sick pills and sweets. You never know when the wind might be blowing against your route ;D
Next, we checked in to our room. Booked Bintan Lagoon Resort! It is a private area(I think) and the beach is just right outside our room! I love it. Spend some time here studying while OB is taking his nap. The only bad thing is... I got attacked by a snake and it hissed me. But I was quick to react hence nothing happened. Haha! I ran into the room and joined OB to nap in the end.
Had lunch at the golf area and my bowl of mee goreng cost $16SGD excluding 20% tax.
Goodness... I told OB I will lick my bowl clean or else I will be wasting money!! HAHA
Spent some time by the pool studying as the next day I have an exam. OB was sun tanning all the way until I asked him to join me at the pool. Haha
We got bored and played with the balls.. Seriously! Lifeguard initially told me it's FOC. But when OB came, he said $8!! Tsk tsk. I got no choice but to pay $8. But it is worth the money la... We had a straining exercise in the pool hahaha
When you thought you can walk on the water,
OB did really well by balancing in the waters for quite awhile! HEH
After which, we went for a massage and food. It was great but I didn't took any pictures.
Then, we went to sing for an hour before we went to bed. :)
Next morning, we had our breakfast provided by the hotel.
Food is relatively good and it was fresh!
After which we went for another tanning session and hit the beach for some pictures before going back to Singapore. Current was big, saw a number of surfers surfing there. ^^

It marks the end of our trip. Overall, it is a pleasure trip. If you are looking for food, I highly recommend you to Pasar OLEH OLEH for seafood/local food as hotel food is exorbitant. And like everyone said, buy water at the ferry terminal!!
Okay, that's about it. Will pen down the rest of my Hong Kong trip by this week! Can't wait to share :D
