FIVE AND DIME

A few weekend ago, OB decided to go to Five and Dime for brunch.
We patronised this shop thrice? Or maybe twice.
We definitely put this in our TOP 5 brunch list as they offers an affordable pricing yet delicious food!
The location is near to our estate and they provides free parking here!
You get to enjoy your brunch in ease and need not worry about finding parking lots.
Y'know sometimes you just hate to put coupons and afraid that u might got summoned? HAHA
I remember that day he was feeling extremely grumpy because we couldn't wake up for breakfast. So I have to face this face throughout my brunch.
I had nutella milkshake. It was so chocolatey! Am a fan of chocolate and I love this. Gonna learn how to make this at home ;)
Both of us had Eggs benedict. I am a HUGE fan of eggs benny. This is by far my favourite when it comes to salad dressing. There's nothing I hate but I dislike having bread that are hard. I prefer muffins for eggs benny. However I only tried eggs benny muffins in NZ only.
Should you have any cafe recommendation do let me know!

My skin's best friend! TOP 10 favourite products!

Today's topic is about my Beauty favourites as there were a number of people asking me why are my skin complexion is good. First and foremost, I am a normal-combination skin type. Ever since the age of 14-15, my first skincare item which I applied on was Moisturiser. At a very young age, I was taught by my mum to love/protect my skin. Probably this is also why I've never had pimples/breakouts before but I do have bad days such as snaky skin appearing once in a blue moon and I have the worst eye bags!! As I grew up, my skincare stash grew bigger and bigger from toner to essence to moisturiser and so forth. Today, I'd like to share with you some of my beauty favourites which I have been using forever since. Here are some of my favourites for skincare:

1. Angels on bare skin
I bought my first tub in NZ. It cost me less than $20. My verdict? I love this so much. There's nth I hate about this product, probably the downside is it doesn't cleanse my skin clean thoroughly and it has a "film" feeling when I'm done washing. The PROS is that it not only hydrates my skin, it gives a healthy glow on my skin. Additionally, it is organic and there's no trace of preservatives which is a bonus for FRESH CLEANSERS! On the other note, this tub lets you uses for a span of only 3 months.

This has got to be my favourite loots on this bucket list!

 2. L'OREAL Cleansing milk & make-up remover
Can't live without. Need I say more? I love L'oreal cleansing milk so much! It is probably one of my favourite cause there isn't any trace of alcohol!!! It is gentle on my skin and sometimes I will use it to remove my eye makeups. On the other hand,  I love using L'oreal lip and eye make-up remover too! However, as it contains oil I try to minimise my usage and remove my makeup only when I have heavy makeups on. To sum up, these are my favourites as it is cheap and it is effective. I bought each bottle at less than SGD6 and it last me for about 3-4months.

You can try purchasing them over at Swanston, they sells the cheapest toiletries in Singapore!
Swanston

Address: 32 New Market Road Singapore 050032 (People's Park Food Centre #02-1004/7, beside OG Building)

There's also a bridge connecting OG to the building level 2 which you will see Swanston.
Tel: 65345776

3. Water sleeping mask
Guess I don't need to introduce about Laneige water sleeping pack, but I got to introduce you wine therapy mask from Holika Holika! Basically it acts as the same as Laneige sleeping mask but these one is much more preferabled!! I bought it at around SGD13 in Seoul, not too sure how much it is retailing in Sg. But I am sure I will stock up on Wine therapy mask once 3 bottles of Laneige sleeping mask has been fully used!

4. Dermal mask
If you think these doesn't show any effects, you are wrong!! It instantly brightens up my face after application! I am using the snail, bee venom, cucumber, apricot and aloe vera. These few are my favourites. My sister uses them as well ever since she stole one from me... Haha!! I got them in Seoul for 10 pieces at SGD3. So friggin' cheap right! Too bad I bought only 60pieces back last year and I've finished all. Thankfully my sister gave me a few of them :)

5. Innisfree capsule recipe pack
Innisfree is not available in SG, however I got mine while I am ordering my BB cream from a friend.
Basically, these works like a mask but it is not for leave in mask like sleeping pack. My verdict for these has to be that IT WORKS right after you apply. I've tried Green Tea, Olive and Canola Honey. Surprisingly, every single capsule gives me a tingling sensation. Canola honey even gave me and OB a "hot sensation". It felt as though there's fire caught on our face! Haha. But in actual fact, these goodies are actually penetrating to our pores. One capsule is sufficient for 3-4 times of usage on entire face. These mask are also good for sensitive skin. OB is extremely sensitive to products, even people touches him his skin turns red and turns frightful. So he is my best guinea pig to try things on! :P

I can't wait to purchase these again!

6. Laneige water bank essence
Okay, I admit I am a fan of Korean skincare products. Haha! Having to be in air-conditioned places most of the time, I will apply a tiny pump of essence on my face to keep my skin hydrated if I am staying in school/work for more than 8 hours. One of the most preferred essence as it is not oily but it helps my skins to stay hydrated. So these products deserve a thumbs up!

7. Natur-e Body Lotion
Apart from my crazy stash of Victoria Secret body lotion, these are the BOMBS. If I am right, it is originated in Indonesia. So I usually ask my aunts to get me when they're coming to SG. There are small molecules (those green spots which you see) which will "pops" and penetrates into your skin. It actually smoothens your skin however this product doesn't promises any whitening effects BUT it is definitely nourishing as it assure of! Not too sure how much this bottle is retailing and I doubt it is available in SG. Perhaps you can try your luck at Batam!
8. OPAL hair treatment
This was bought by OB when he's in HongKong. Primarily it is a hair treatment to be left for only 1 minute, and it gives a shiny and soft hair afterwards. It is endorsed and renowned to be used from Hong Kong artiste. Meaning it is very popular in HK la! It is not available in Singapore, and it is affordable! 1 box contains 4 bottles costing about 15SGD I think... These definitely is the top product cause I introduced it to a friend and a common friend of ours asked me if I wanna get these product. But she didn't knew I introduced it to that friend of ours lol.
9. Avocado Brightening Sherbet by Scentio

Got them in Bangkok and boyyy.... I am in love with this product! I love the smell, especially the one in strawberry! However it had been discontinued so I've been using the one in avocado! The scrub is really mild and it definitely brightens my skin! I've friends who said why are my shoulders glowing!! I am pretty sure it's this product that is working for me!!! ;)

10. Jorubi Aloe Vera Gel
Lastly, my bf, my whole family and friends will know I AM CRAZY OVER THESE. I apply these on my face when I'm having flaky skin days, mosquito bite days, cuts days, dry skin days and ulcer days... Almost everyday!!! I keep it refrigerated and applies right after my shower. I also spreads this on OB face when he has breakout or anything like such. So I bought him a bottle and kept at his house! These has got to be my favourite for countless years!!! This cost me less than SGD20 with a tiny complimentary tube of aloe vera. Got'em from Swanston again!

Here are some of the few things which I've been using on my skin ever since. I can't take a picture of the entire stash of favourites since my plate is too small!! These few are also the products which I foresee myself using for a long time even if I am old. If you've read every single points which I've mentioned, you probably would have realised that my key to good skin is hydration. Not only do I pay a lot of attention to my skin, I drink 1.8-2litres of water/fruit juice everyday without fail. Remember, there's no beautiful women in these world but lazy women. These also reminds me to stop being lazy, and get my butt off to run. Till the next beauty favourites folks! Stay beautiful and young! Xx

Happiest woman in the entire globe.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well while reading this. Today, I'd like to talk about Hope and a little Faith. Why this topic? As you might know, I've just posted my New Zealand Travelogue sometime back. I'd like to share more on how did I get there. (click link to read my previous posts)

First to start with, I'd like to introduce myself here. I'm so much younger than anyone of you, or maybe I might be elder by you just by a few year old. But I am here to share something with you something which is effective for me - Hope and a little Faith.

Skydiving Experience
I went on an adventurous trip this year during May in Auckland. I had so much fun having to explore the cities and doing what I'm afraid - trekking in heights. I think anyone who sees me will think I am arrogant and proud. It is funny how people judge the other without knowing who they are. Firstly, I'd like to introduce more about me over here. I am just a normal girl with a powerful faith(I think). And ya, just one sentence to summaries who I am.

During the early second quarter of this year,  I travelled to New Zealand. So you might think it is not  a big deal to travel there, but it is to me as I have turned to be thankful for anything that had happened to me. Having to skydive at the age before hitting the big key is a big deal. And I am blessed to skydive even before I hit the keys. I meant majorities had yet to skydive at a young age right? Although there are some.. HI 5! We're the bunch of kiddos who skydived before we got the keys! But how did I get there? How did I get to New Zealand?

My boyfriend Billy booked a year ahead on this trip to New Zealand. I agreed relentlessly back then. Though skeptical, I didn't take it to heart that I will be there - New Zealand. However, when time is near I found myself landing at the foot of NZ. I was thrilled, excited and delighted.  Towards the end of our journey, I went to skydive at Taupo. That was the best feeling eva. I showed all signs of excitement & how petrified I was. I remembered I went mute when I was interviewed by my coach. The next minute without knowing, I fell from the helicopter. Boy.... The view is stunning. I saw rainbows, I touched clouds and I had the best feeling in the world. I was probably the happiest woman in the entire globe. Haha! I'm gonna try it again, am sure about this!!

So you must be wondering why is it related to Hope & Faith at this point of time. It relates. A few years back, I posted a video on my social platform. I remember vividly that I wrote "someday I will be here". However, I couldn't manage to retrieve my post on FB now. But here's the video which I posted(I saved the link in my thumbdrive. lololol.) ::

While I was walking out to the carpark after skydiving, my mind was racing.. Something familiar flashed across my mind. I found myself living in a state of familiarity. I told OB that I felt strange and I felt this happened before. True enough, I found myself recapping that I wanted to be here a few years ago and it happened! Without realising, I found myself accomplishing what I wanted.  There weren't any clues that I will make it happen, neither did I make the effort to accomplish what I wanted to happen. But it just happened. I fell 15,000 feet from the sky. If you're skeptical and thinking maybe my bf saw the post and brought me there, remember I wrote in the above that the link has been deleted?

I believed that my trip to New Zealand wasn't a wish but a hope which I carries with a little faith. A hope that I can be there & a little faith to keep myself aware that someday I will be there. Of course, without Billy's suggestion of going to NZ I wouldn't be here! Haha. Therefore, always hope & have a little faith! I believe you can get wherever you wanna go :D This happened to me a couple of times, but this matter is worth remembering for I skydived. Hahaha! I still couldn't believe I skydived. Lololol. I think I am so boastful cause I always boast about my skydiving experience to people.

Okay, so now that I am done with one of my mission. I'd like to share with you another mission of mine :

I'm going to do this before I hit 25! *Hopefully* But I guess before I go, I guess I have to gain weight and not afraid of height. I'll carry a little more faith this time and believe I will get here. But I think even if I am here I doubt I can climb up the rocks alone lah... While caving I already wanna die cause I am so afraid of heights!! My legs will turn jelly and I will automatically squat down and crawl. HAHAHA. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post and see you soon. :) Remember, carry hope and a little Faith wherever you go. You'll never know someday you'll be at your dream place/miracle! ;)
