Beauty talk: What are mens drawn to?

Hello! I am kinda busy with work and studies lately hence the lack of updates here,
however everything is good for me lately! =D
Today, I'd like to share with you some of the lipsticks I am owning currently today.

I am sure many women love lipsticks and I am definitely one of them!
As much as mens loathe their partner having lipsticks on,
I always believed that what draws a man to woman are..... RED LIPSTICKS!

Here are some of my lipsticks collection which I'd loooovee to share with you ladies! ;)
Lipsticks holder were from Daiso!
First to start with, always apply lip balm to nourish your lips!
Mine is from Burt's bees and Etude house's respectively.
The only lip gloss in my entire lipsticks collection.
I usually apply these when I'm having dinners/nights out. Love the smell btw!
It perks up my lips and usually... people ask me what's my lipsticks.
I apply this with MAC, lustering together!
For school, I have an extensive array of colours to choose from.
They're namely from Benefit, Burberry No 202, Loreal Shiny Coral, Face Shop No 7 and Etude house.
Usually I apply lipsticks accordingly to my mood. Since I apply BB cream to school only, I tend to apply Etude house's lipstick and stay away from nude colours.
Next, for days when I'm going out, I apply MAC in shade Lustering or Revlon .
They're my favourite! YSL is the only lipstick I wear when I'm heading out to drink. It smells good too.
Mac: Lustering & Peach Stock
Luvshuca: 1843
Revlon: Berry Shade & Sky Pink
YSL: #10
Victoria Secret: Knockout Red

Here are some of my favourite lipstick collection. Will update more on my lipsticks buys in the near future!
I have tons of them but I am so lazy to take pictures of them. Haha!
Have a great weekend, loves!

Shopping X Group Therapy Cafe

I've yet to pen down on my Hong Kong post as I am lazy/tired lately.
So here's a post which I had late brunch with my primary school friend, Magdelene.

We visited Group Therapy since it's near to our estate.
Been encouraging OB to visit cafes despite there are a number of cafes in our area but he just... dislike the thought of spending money eating eggs. Haha!

Anyway, we ordered hot chocolate to share.
As usual, we ordered our favourite eggs benny each!
Their eggs benedict are quite gelat when I'm about to finish. But I loveee their poached eggs with salmon sitting on a thick toast!
Nonetheless, we licked our plates clean & had a good chat there.
My outfit that day. Pretty love my buckled heels which I've been wearing lately ;)

Since I covered you with food, I shall share with you some of my beauty buys which I've used this month.
I am quite a skincare junkie so I am always stalking on people who have clear skin. Knowing what they use or what is good. It might be that I am a judging person, but whenever anyone tells me how good is the skincare product I'd judge by their complexion first. If their skin is good, I will buy buy buy! I even ask my boyfriend to buy most of the time! Haha!
I uses 1-2 new products on my skin monthly. Sometimes, I would use 3-4 new products if my skincare/makeup products are accumulating(it is forever accumulating). Haha!

First up would be Freshel clear soap which I've just started using.
I've used it for about a week. Got it from Johor, it cost about $10SGD.
I love the texture of the foam. It is thick and it can be used as mask.
But if you were to ask if I will use it for a long time, probably the answer is yes.
It gives me clear radiant skin when I use it every alternate days with Lush's Angel on Bare Skin.
So it is good if you are finding cleansing foams that cleans out impurities.
Next, as my Clinique toner had finished I replaced it with this, Kose Moisture Mild.
During my Hong Kong trip, I bought a few toners as I ran out of it and this is the first bottle I am using.
The texture is in water formula which I love it a lot! Felt that it penetrates deep into my pores which brightens up my face. Not a fan of sticky-feeling toners as I feel it might clog up my pores lol.
So this is my favourite toner for now! Unfortunately it's not available in Singapore :( .
The price is really affordable at 97HKD. Which is about $17SGD. It's one of my best buys in Hong Kong!

Ending abruptly,
shall share with you my beauty/makeup buys next month! :)

Breakfast edition: October's breakfast made by ME!

Since lately I've been taking my breakfast regularly, I thought I should share what kind of breakfast do I usually do/have every morning. They're all fuss free and they're all packed with nutrients! First to share with, I'm a fan of eggs, citrus fruits and anything that is made of wheat therefore my breakfast are usually a mixture of all these. In this post, I will share with you some secrets that also keeps my skin stay healthy! ;) Without any ado, let's get started!

1. Blueberry Pancakes.
This is probably the easiest breakfast to make in this list! I am using Pancake Mix to cook my pancakes as it is fuss-free and easier since I don't need to purchase baking powder etc...Pancake Mix is available in all supermarkets and maybe your nearby family mart ;)

Ingredients :
1/4 cup of blueberries
Pancake mix
Cold water
Butter
Honey

Direction :
1. Mix Pancake Mix with cold water and allows it to become a lumpy mixture; don't over-mix or else you'll end up with liquid and thin pancakes.
2. Add in blueberries to the mixture.
3. Preheat a non-stick frying pan or non-stick griddle until hot. Then, add in a small bit of butter to melt.
4. Use a small ladle, scoop, or measuring cup to drop the pancake batter onto the pan. Flip them over when it turns golden brown.
5. Remove when both sides has turned golden brown.
6. Serve with honey and top a few blueberries on your plate!

2. Strawberry french toast.
Another one of my favourite breakfast! This dish is served within 5 minutes therefore I'm always seen making this ;)

Ingredients :
3 slices of bread
Strawberry
2 Eggs
Honey
Butter

Direction :
1. Crack eggs on a bowl and whisk. Add 2 tablespoon of milk if desired.
2. Dip each slices of bread into the egg mixture, allowing bread to soak up some of the mixture. Melt some butter (or use vegetable oil) over a large skillet on medium high heat. Add bread onto the skillet and fry until it turns golden brown on both sides.
3. Serve with maple syrup, honey or maybe ice cream with some fruits? ;)

3. Pippin' Red.

I always make this drink for myself once my period is over. It regulates blood circulation,  relieve stress and insomnia while providing anti-inflammatory effects. It also helps my skin to be more radiant and glow! I learned this from a Hongkie blogger.. Since then, I've always made this drink for myself! ;)

Red dates aka. jujubes are seen as China’s “cure-all fruit” and have 70-80x more vitamin C than grapes and apples. They’ve also got plenty of vitamin A, B1, B2, protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium and are known for enriching and replenishing the blood (great for women during their special time of month or after giving birth).

Ingredients:
12 red dates
1 rock sugar

Direction :
1. Wash the red dates and remove excess dirt.
2. Boil a pot of water and pour red dates in.
3. While it is about to be heated, add in rock sugar to taste.
4. Smash some of the red dates in the water for better tasting and nutrients.
5. Turn off your gas after the water has boiled.
6. Serve.

4. Herbal Chicken

Lately, my mother has been brewing you mei shu chicken soup for me.
Ingredients were Yomeishu, red date ((promote yangqi (阳气), or the warm half of the yin-yang balance, in the body, and have the power to strengthen the spleen and stomach, replenish qi, nourish and produce blood and tranquilize the mind)), ginseng (lower cholesterol, increase energy and endurance, reduce fatique and effects of stress and prevent infections.), Goji(mental well-being and calmness, athletic performance, happiness, quality of sleep, and feelings of good health) and Chicken thigh. She doesn't add any salt/oil for tasting therefore it is loaded with loads of nutrients! I felt truly awesome everyday when I'm having it! However she brewed it for over 10hours daily so maybe you might wanna consider other alternatives like buying outside.. lol

I hope you enjoyed this post, will try something special next month for my breakfast edition!

On a side note, I will be sharing with you my Hong Kong travelogue soon! ;)

Hong Kong Day 3 // Shopping & FOOOOOD!

Hi! I've been really really busy lately and might be overly stressed..
For instance, when I'm about to go to bed, I'd think about Joifeth & school assignments.
It's taking a toll on me, or maybe I am really bad at managing my time.. Or sometimes I am not doing good enough. Sigh

Anyway, back to topic..
I am continuing my day 3 trip about Hong Kong!
You can read the previous post here.
That day, we spent the entire day shopping, eating & massaging!!

First to start with, my OOTD!
Top : Joifeth.
Skirt : Bought in Sydney.
We started our day by going to the famous Australia Diary Company located at 47 Parkes St, Hong Kong!

There were countless amount of pretty ladies around there. Felt that I was so outcasted. Haa!
There was a long queue but we got ourselves seats in less than 15mins! One of the reason I love Hong Kong is their service is soooo fast!
I had this! Personally I prefer this to the milk as I am not a fan of milk. I finished this bowl at once!
Craving for a bowl now :(
The scrambled eggs were good. I'm a fan of scrambled eggs and I think this is one that taste AWESOME.
Nothing special about macaroni. But I thought if the base were ABC soup it might taste better? Haha
Then we went to shop...
Waiting for my dad and OB to finish their shopping so I'm chillin' around.
After which, we went to had late lunch over at Cheers Restaurant.
639 Nathan RoadHong KongChina (Mong Kok)

They serve inexpensive dim sum/seafood and it is probably one of the best restaurant we've been to in Hong Kong. Food taste extremely good as well, except one dish... HAHAHA
Just take a look how boisterous the crowd were!
I went to take a look at their seafood section,
they offers an extensive array of choices. YAY
Here's the overview of the restaurant. Apparently it is way bigger than this picture as they have another section to caters occasions.
Some of the food we've ordered. We ate every single thing, CLEAN!
Below is the only dish that disappoints us. I took it from those trolleys... It tastes horrible anyway, bad move.
The total cost us less than 150SGD if I remember correctly. Relatively cheap as they serve really good food. My parents initially wanted to go back the next day -.-
During night time, we went to Tsim Sha Shui and shopped...
OB and I were so sick of eating Chinese food so we had Korean cuisine ourselves!
And it taste.... not too bad. Haha!
After which, we shopped and went back to the hotel.
Didn't went to club as planned as we're exhausted by then.
We ended our night with a few cans of beer and fell asleep...
